Wang Ying Tu

Wang Ying Tu is a Brooklyn-based costume designer and originally from Taipei, Taiwan.

She received her MFA in Design from the NYU Tisch School of the Arts Design for Stage and Film, where her credits include Tomorrow Will Take Care of Itself (NYU Grad Acting) and The House of Blue Leaves (NYU Grad Acting).

Her work in Taiwan include How to Eat Beef Deliciously (Tainaner Ensemble Company), Mission Incomplete (new artists program supported by Taiwan Culture Department) and The Balcony (National Taiwan University). Prior to attending NYU, she has also worked in Martin Scorsese’s feature Silence as a wardrobe assistant under Dante Ferretti and Susan Kulkani.
