Katharina Windemuth is a costume designer with a background in fashion. Her designs blend the precision and logic of clothing construction with the intimacy of narrative storytelling.
After working as a stitcher in Berlin, Katharina moved to the United States to study at Brown University, where she created a major in Fashion Design. While living in Providence, she also took several classes at RISD, including Digital Textile Printing and The History of the Bauhaus.
This year, Katharina is graduating from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with an MFA in Costume Design for Stage and Film. Going forward, Katharina intends to continue designing costumes for both film and theater.
